Show this letter to your child and invite them to find their own favourite soft toy/doll.

Take photos together of the chosen toy at home (e.g. eating dinner, watching a film, playing a game, going to bed etc.).

Look at the pictures with your child and ask your child to describe what happens in each photo, translating some words where you can.

Observe which language you and your child use, and how you translate words - Who knows the other language? Which resources can you use? Do you ask other family members? Do you look up translations online?

Upload the photos you have taken onto the platform. For each photo, audio record little stories with your child. You could also add labels or descriptions in other languages.

The toy diaries you create can be shared with other parents in the group, which means you can view the toy diaries other children created with their parents together with your child!
