Welcome to Family skills!

We hope you enjoy the Family Skills course, and we also hope you enjoy trying out the VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) for the first time! This new platform is full of resources designed to help you progress through the course.

Resources on the VLE are relevant to each session you will complete as part of the course, and they are split into three main topics:

- Living with more than one language

- The benefits of storytelling

- Learning in the early years and in school in England

You can find activities related to each of these topics in the naviagtion bar on the left-hand side of your screen, under 'materials'. But don't worry if you struggle to find what you are looking for, each week your course leader will post on the 'noticeboard' with links to the activities related to the topic you have covered in that week's session. The noticeboard can also be found in your left-hand navigation bar, or you can click here [CREATE LINK].

In the bottom right-hand corner of your screen, you will see 'Beeba' the bee. Beeba is there to help you use the platform, enabling automatic translation of content and the use of a multilingual keyboard - just click Beeba to see the options!
